Reports

The Invoice app provides reports to help you understand sales, payments, and outstanding amounts. Filter by date range and export to Excel or PDF for further analysis.

Overview of Available Reports

Reports help you track sales performance, payments received, and outstanding invoices. Use filters to narrow by date range, customer, or status. Export reports for sharing or record-keeping.

Report Types

  • Sales Summary — Total sales over a selected period. Shows revenue by month or custom date range. Useful for tracking overall performance.
  • Payment Report — Payments received in a period. Lists payment date, amount, invoice reference, and customer. Helps reconcile payments.
  • Outstanding Report — Unpaid or partially paid invoices. Shows customer, amount due, due date, and days overdue. Use for follow-up and collections.
  • Customer Report — Per-customer invoice summary. Shows total invoiced, total paid, and outstanding amount per customer. Useful for account management.
  • Product Report — Sales by product. Shows quantity sold and revenue per product. Helps identify top-selling items.

How to Filter and Export Reports

Each report has filter options at the top:

  • Date range — Select start and end dates.
  • Customer — Filter by specific customer (where applicable).
  • Status — Filter by invoice status (e.g., Paid, Sent, Overdue).

After applying filters, click Export to download the report as Excel or PDF. Use Excel for further analysis or custom formatting; use PDF for sharing or printing.
