QR Menu
Create QR codes for your tables. Customers scan the code to view your menu on their phone. A contactless way to showcase your offerings.
Overview
The QR Menu feature lets you generate QR codes for each branch or table. When customers scan the code with their phone camera, they see a clean, mobile-friendly version of your menu. This is a view-only menu — customers browse items, prices, and descriptions on their own device.
How It Works
- Your menu is already set up in the Restaurant app (categories and items).
- Generate a QR code for your branch or a specific table.
- Print the QR code and place it on the table (table stand, sticker, or tent card).
- Customers scan the code and view the menu on their phone.
How to Generate a QR Code
Go to QR Menu
From the sidebar, click QR Menu. You will see branch options for QR code generation.
Select Branch and Table
Choose the branch and optionally a specific table. Each table can have its own QR code.
Generate and Download
Click Generate to create the QR code. Use the Download button to save the QR code image. Print and place it on the table.
What Customers See
When a customer scans the QR code, they are taken to a public page that shows:
- Your restaurant name and branch
- Menu categories as headings
- Items with name, description, and price
- Veg and Non-Veg badges for each item
The menu is optimised for mobile phones and works in any browser. No app download is needed.
Important Notes
- The QR menu is view-only. Customers cannot place orders or make payments through the QR menu.
- Menu updates in the Restaurant app are reflected immediately on the QR menu — no need to regenerate QR codes.
- If you change table numbers, generate new QR codes for the new tables.
Tip: Place QR codes at eye level on tables for easy scanning. Use waterproof material if placing outdoors. The QR menu is a great contactless option that reduces physical menu handling.
