ERP Inventory

Inventory management within ERP covers warehouses, stock balance, stock transfers, and opening stock. It works alongside production: raw materials are consumed and finished goods are added. Stock is shared with the Inventory app when both are enabled.

Overview

ERP inventory lets you manage stock across warehouses, view balances, transfer materials between locations, and set up opening stock. Production entries, purchase bills, and sales invoices all update stock. The same warehouses and items are used across ERP and the Inventory app.

Warehouses in ERP

Warehouses in ERP work the same as in the Inventory app. Create warehouses from ERP → Inventory → Warehouses (or from the Inventory app). Each warehouse has a name, address, and optional default flag. Production, transfers, and stock balance are tracked per warehouse.

Field Description
Name Warehouse display name.
Address Street address, city, state.
Is Default When enabled, pre-selected for new transactions.

Stock Balance

View current stock levels across warehouses. Filter by item, warehouse, or both. Columns typically include Item, Warehouse, Quantity, Unit, and Value. Use this to check availability before production or sales.

Stock Transfers
