Services
Services are the offerings customers can book. Each service has a name, duration, price, and optional tax. Define your services before accepting bookings.
What Are Services?
Services are the bookable offerings you provide. Examples include consultations, treatments, sessions, or appointments. Each service defines how long it takes, how much it costs, and whether tax applies. Customers select a service when making a booking.
How to Add a Service
Go to Services
From the Booking app, open the Services section. Click "Add Service" or "New Service".
Enter Service Details
Fill in the service name (e.g., Initial Consultation), duration in minutes (e.g., 60), and price. Add an optional description and select a tax rate if applicable.
Assign Category (Optional)
If you use categories (e.g., Consultations, Treatments), select one. Categories help organize services in lists and reports.
Save
Click Save. The service appears in your list and is available for bookings when status is Active.

Service Name
Required. The display name of the service (e.g., Haircut, Consultation, Repair).
Description
Optional. Brief description of what the service includes. Shown to customers when booking.
Duration
Required. Length of the service in minutes (e.g., 30, 60, 90). Used to block time on the calendar.
Price
Required. The charge for the service. Enter the base amount before tax.
Tax
Optional. Select a tax rate to apply. Tax is calculated on the price and added to invoices.
Category
Optional. Group services (e.g., Consultations, Treatments). Useful for filtering and reporting.
Status
Active or Inactive. Inactive services do not appear for new bookings but remain in history.

The name of the service. Click to edit.
Duration
Length in minutes.
Price
Base price of the service.
Tax
Tax rate applied, if any.
Category
Category assigned to the service.
Status
Active or Inactive.
Editing and Deactivating Services
To edit a service, click it in the list and update the fields. Changes apply to new bookings only; existing bookings retain the original service details.
To stop offering a service without deleting it, set Status to Inactive. The service will no longer appear for new bookings but remains visible in past bookings and reports.
Tip: Add clear descriptions to services. Customers see them when booking online, and they help staff explain what is included when creating bookings manually.
