Profile & Settings
Manage your personal profile, update your information, change your password, and configure notification preferences. Your profile is shared across all companies you belong to.
Overview of Profile Settings
Your profile stores your name, email, avatar, and contact details. These settings apply to your account globally and are visible to other team members in companies you belong to. You can also manage security settings like password and two-factor authentication.
How to Update Profile Info
Open Profile Settings
Click your avatar or name in the top-right corner of any Xnoll page, then select "Profile" or "Settings". Or go to Platform → Profile & Settings.
Edit Your Details
Update the fields you want to change. Required fields must be filled. Click "Save" when done.
Verify Changes
You will see a confirmation message. Your updated profile will be reflected across all companies.
Profile Form Fields

| Name Required | Your display name shown across the platform. Example: John Smith. |
| Your login email. Read-only for security. Contact support to change. | |
| Avatar Optional | Profile picture. Upload an image (JPG, PNG) up to 2MB. Shown in the header and team lists. |
| Phone Optional | Contact phone number. Used for notifications or account recovery if enabled. |
How to Change Password
To update your password:
- Go to Profile & Settings.
- Find the Security or Password section.
- Enter your current password, then your new password twice.
- Click "Update Password". You may need to sign in again on other devices.
Notification Preferences
Control how and when you receive notifications:
- Email notifications — Choose which events trigger emails (e.g., team invites, billing alerts, app updates).
- In-app notifications — Enable or disable the notification bell and its alerts.
- Digest frequency — For some notification types, you can receive a daily or weekly summary instead of instant alerts.
How to Deactivate or Delete Account
If you need to leave the platform:
- Deactivate — Temporarily disables your account. You will not receive emails or be able to sign in. Your data remains. You can re-activate later.
- Delete — Permanently removes your account and associated data. This action cannot be undone.
To deactivate or delete: Go to Profile & Settings → Account, then choose "Deactivate account" or "Delete account". You may need to confirm via email.
Warning: Account deletion is permanent. All your data, including access to companies, will be removed. If you are the only admin of a company, assign another admin before deleting your account. This action cannot be reversed.
