Team Management

Invite colleagues, assign roles, and manage who has access to your company. Team management lets you collaborate securely while controlling what each member can see and do.

What is Team Management?

Team management is the central place to add, remove, and manage people who have access to your company. Each team member receives an invitation by email, accepts it to join, and is assigned a role that determines their permissions across Platform and enabled apps.

How to Invite a Team Member

Open Team Management
From the Platform dashboard, go to Team Management. You can also access it from the sidebar under Platform.
Click Invite Member
Click the "Invite Member" button at the top of the members list. A form will open.
Enter Details
Enter the invitee's email address, select a role from the dropdown, and optionally add a personal message. The message is included in the invitation email.
Send Invitation
Click "Send Invite". The invitee will receive an email with a link to accept and join your company. They will appear in the members list with a Pending status until they accept.

Invite Form Fields

Field Description
Email Required The email address where the invitation will be sent. Must be unique within the company.
Role Required The role assigned to the member. Determines what they can access and do. See Roles & Permissions for details.
Message Optional A personal note included in the invitation email. Useful for context or instructions.

The Members List

The members list displays all people who have been invited to or are part of your company. You can view, search, and manage members from this grid.

Members List Columns
Name
The member's display name. For pending invites, this may show the email until they accept.
Email
The email address used for login and notifications.
Role
The role assigned to the member (e.g., Owner, Admin, Member).
Status
Whether the member is Active, Pending (invitation not yet accepted), or Deactivated.
Actions
Quick actions such as change role, resend invite (for pending), or remove member.

How to Change a Member's Role

To change a member's role, locate them in the members list and click the actions menu (or "Change Role"). Select the new role from the dropdown and confirm. The change takes effect immediately. Only Owners and Admins can change roles.

How to Remove a Member

To remove a member, open the actions menu next to their name and select "Remove". Confirm the action. The member will lose access to the company immediately. You cannot remove the last Owner. If you need to transfer ownership, assign the Owner role to another member first, then remove the previous Owner.

Understanding Member Statuses

  • Active — The member has accepted the invitation and has full access according to their role.
  • Pending — An invitation was sent but not yet accepted. The member has no access until they accept.
  • Deactivated — The member's access has been revoked. They can no longer sign in to the company.
