View sales performance, order summaries, top-selling items, and business trends. Filter by date range and branch to focus on specific periods.

Dashboard Overview

The Restaurant Dashboard gives you a real-time snapshot of your business:

  • Key Metrics — Net sales, order count, average check, and table occupancy for the selected period.
  • Comparison — Each metric is compared to the previous period (yesterday, last week, last month) so you can spot trends.
  • Charts — Revenue trend, revenue by daypart (breakfast, lunch, snacks, dinner), payment methods, order types, and top items.
  • Item Performance — Top selling items and low performing items tables.

Period Filtering

The Dashboard and Reports support the following periods:

  • Today
  • Yesterday
  • This Week
  • Last Week
  • This Month
  • Last Month
  • Custom Date Range

Each period shows a comparison with the equivalent previous period to help you measure growth.

Report Types

The Reports page gives you access to detailed reports:

  • Sales Summary — Total sales, order count, average order value, discounts, and taxes for a period.
  • Daily Sales — Day-by-day revenue breakdown. Useful for spotting weekly patterns.
  • Weekly Sales — Week-by-week revenue comparison for longer-term trends.
  • Monthly Sales — Month-by-month performance tracking.
  • Order Summary — Orders grouped by status, type, and payment method.
  • Top Items — Best and worst selling menu items by quantity and revenue.

Key Metrics Explained

Dashboard Metrics
Net Sales
Total revenue from completed orders in the selected period.
Orders
Total number of orders placed.
Average Check
Revenue divided by number of orders. Shows average spend per order.
Table Occupancy
Percentage of tables currently occupied.
Average Guests
Average party size across all orders.
Kitchen Time
Average time from order placement to completion (in minutes).

Revenue by Daypart

The Dashboard shows how your revenue is distributed across the day:

  • Breakfast (6 AM – 10 AM)
  • Lunch (11 AM – 2 PM)
  • Snacks (3 PM – 5 PM)
  • Dinner (6 PM onwards)

Use this to identify your busiest periods and plan staffing accordingly.
