What the Invoice App Does
The Invoice app provides a streamlined way to:
- Create invoices — Build professional invoices with products, quantities, rates, and taxes.
- Manage products — Maintain a product catalog with names, prices, and optional stock tracking.
- Manage customers — Store customer details for quick selection when creating invoices.
- Send invoices — Email invoices directly to customers or download as PDF.
- Track payments — Record payments and view outstanding amounts.
Key Features
- Products — Add products with names, descriptions, prices, tax rates, and optional SKU. Enable stock tracking if needed.
- Customers — Store customer names, contact details, and addresses for invoice delivery.
- Invoices — Create invoices with line items, discounts, taxes, and terms. Auto-numbering and due dates supported.
- PDF & Email — Download invoices as PDF or send them via email from within the app.
- Reports — Sales summary, payment reports, outstanding invoices, and customer or product breakdowns.
Typical Workflow
Follow this sequence to get started:
Add Products
Create your product catalog with names, prices, and optional tax rates. Products can be reused across all invoices.
Add Customers
Add your customers with contact details. Email addresses are used when sending invoices.
Create Invoice
Select a customer, add products or line items, review totals, and save the invoice.
Send Invoice
Email the invoice to the customer or download it as a PDF to share manually.
Track Payment
Mark invoices as paid when you receive payment. Use reports to see outstanding amounts.
