What the Inventory App Does
The Inventory app is designed for businesses that buy and sell products. It covers the full cycle from quotation to delivery:
- Sales — Create quotations, convert them to sales orders, and generate invoices for your customers.
- Purchase — Create purchase orders, record purchase bills, and manage vendor relationships.
- Stock Tracking — Monitor inventory levels across warehouses, record stock adjustments, and handle credit and debit notes.

- Items — Define products with names, SKUs, categories, units, and pricing. Choose whether to track stock per item.
- Warehouses — Set up multiple storage locations. Stock is tracked per warehouse.
- Customers & Vendors — Maintain contact records for buyers and suppliers.
- Quotations — Send price quotes to customers before they place an order.
- Sales Orders — Record confirmed customer orders and reserve stock.
- Invoices — Generate professional invoices from sales orders or create standalone invoices.

Typical Workflow
Most businesses follow this sequence when getting started:
Add Items
Define the products you sell and buy. Set names, units, prices, and whether to track stock.
Create Warehouse
Add at least one warehouse. Stock levels are tracked per warehouse.
Add Customers & Vendors
Create records for your buyers and suppliers. Link them to quotations, orders, and invoices.
Create Orders
Start with quotations or sales orders for customers. Create purchase orders when you need to buy stock.
Track Stock
Stock updates automatically when you fulfill sales orders, record purchase bills, or perform manual adjustments.
